  • Nwdyad

    Hello,

I am struggling with an issue which I think should be easy enough, but I can't find any information about it.
I am using nwplot to draw a network, and I want the edges of that network to be colored depending on wether the connection between those individuals is mutuar or not (i.e. if they name each other or only one of them names the other). With the command nwdyad, I can see how many mutual and non-mutual connections the networks has, but I can't find any way to save that information and then be able to use it as edgecolor.
Even though I think this would be the cleanest way to see it, I also tried to make the edges have arrows either in the two extrems if the connection is mutual or only one extreme if it's not, but it seems I can't also make that work. I read that by default with nwplot, mutual connections are represented as curved lines while asymmetrical ones are represented as straing lines, however all my connections look curved, while onlye about 30% are mutual connections.

If anyone has any insight into this, I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance.
