stata17 program

Hello~~
currently, I`m a Stata 14 user but I`ve been having a lot of issues with it, mostly memory issues,
it displays the same tables despite having different code lines
I would like to upgrade to stata17 but I`m a Ph.D. student and broke.
I checked the website, even the student package is very pricy.
does anyone have any tips for how to use stata17 for free

Your best legal and ethical option is to ask people with more leverage in your school or department to ask your institution to upgrade. Everything else is theft of some kind.
