Moving data types to another db

I have two .dta files.

They contain the exact same columns with the same name in the same order.

I have to change the datatype of the columns in the second .dta to match the one of the first .dta.

How to do that?

That depends entirely on what datatypes the corresponding variables in each dataset are. There is no single command to do this.
