Using HH income categorical variable to make an individual's share of HH income using midpoints
Good day, all
I have a HH income categorical var and would like to use this var to make individuals' share of HH income (I have HH-level and individual-level data). This means I'd have to firstly, convert the HH income categorical var into a numerical var using each income interval midpoint and secondly, work out individuals' share of this income. Can someone help me with this please?
