Dear All,
I am currently struggling with the interpretation of the ppmlhdfe coefficients. I am estimating whether certain call types of Domestic Violence (DV) rose during the COVID-19 lockdown. I use a ppmlhdfe regression model and display the exponentiated coefficients in the table. My question basically is: Do I say: Calls increased by around 6% during the lockdown or do I say calls increased in their likelihood by 6%? I am unsure because this is a max. likelihood model so we are not talking about actual increases or are we? I am sorry if the answer seems obvious to some people, but to me it does not.
I am appreciating any help on this matter. Thank you!
Best regards, Katarine
