Hi,
When testing assumptions of my multilevel model, the level 2 residuals (random intercepts) are not normally distributed. I think I read somewhere that this may mean the data wasn't collected randomly, but I can't find this again. Would this be an appropriate interpretation or there is a better explanation? Thanks in advance for people's time in answering.
Best wishes,
Penny
