Welcome to the Statalist Oluwarotimi. Your question is too general for us to give you a meaningful answer. Can you narrow your question down to something concrete?

      Hi Oluwarotimi,

In addition to Maarten's useful advice, since you are interested in socioeconomic inequalities in health, I think you may want to read this book: https://openknowledge.worldbank.org/handle/10986/6896
In my opinion, this is a very good book in this field with lots of guidance/demonstrations on how to conduct a study on socioeconomic inequalities in health. Authors of this book are also very generous to provide data and Stata code in most Chapters, so don't forget to download and practice with those materials (look for supplementary materials when you click on the web link)

As for your questions, I think you can start with Chapters 7, 8, 13.

Note: if you decide to use concentration index, then I think it would be better to use conindex command written by the first author of that book (in the supplementary materials of the book, authors computed concentration index manually). Since conindex is from ssc, you need to install it before use: ssc install conindex

      Hope this helps.
