Yes, if you are running a pre-frames Stata, you will have to make a separate data set out of the data that goes into frame interviews. Then you can merge it where the -frlink- command shows up. But to do that, you will have to harmonize the names wave_year in the interviews data and year in the episodes data. Rename one of them to match the other before -merge-ing.
