Dear all,
I'm Gabriele Dini, I study Economics at the University of Bologna.
I want to import an excel file *.xlsx to Stata. You'll find it in the attached.
In order to import the file, I followed this simple procedure in Stata:
file --> import -->excel spreadsheet (*.xls; *xlsx) --> browse... ---> [I selected] import first row as variable names ---> ok.
I faced the following problem: my dataset includes 20 variables and 4459 observations.
However, Stata tells me that the number of observations is more than 1 milion.
In fact, the box "data" placed in the lower right show me that I have 20 variables (right) and 1,048,575 observations.
What I have to do in order to have the right number of observations?
Please find the attached. DATASET - Csv2 - VERO.xlsx
