Hi, I am working with a survey that is collected each quarter. When someone is selected, she remains in the survey for 6 quarters (1 and ½ years) and then she leaves (so this is more like a rotating panel).
I am trying to see what happens with different cohorts given a shock, so this is cohort analysis. To get more observations and gain power, I am stacking 12 years of the survey. As I want to count each person once, I want to keep the latest observation of each person in my final sample.
My understanding is that sampling weights are valid just within survey quarter, then I was wondering if there is a to correct the sampling probability weights using STATA?. I tried to look up for this using the “svy commands” but I could not find anything.
