  • Random effects GLS Regression

    Hi

I am running a Random effects GLS Regression where I found no result for Wald chi2(35). Can anyone tell me what is the problem.

The problem may be that you have singletons (ie, observations with one wave of data only) among your panels.
    Kind regards,

      Hi Carlo,
Thank you for your message. I didn't understand what you say. Can you please advise me how can I fix it.

I meant that, as per you results (see Obs. per Group), you have, for same panels, one observation only included in your regression: this is due to missing values.
Because of that, the Wald chi test gasps.
The obvious (but often unfeasible) fix is to retrieve the missing data; the (much more) practical fix is to impute them (if feasible): see -mi- and -ipolate-.
For the future, please do not use screenshots but CODE delimiters to share what you typed and what Stata gave you back (see the FAQ on this and other posting-related topics). Thanks.
        Kind regards,
        Carlo
