  • 2016 Stata Conference Chicago

On behalf of the organizing committee (Matias Cattaneo, Scott Long, Richard Williams and myself), I would like to invite everyone to the 2016 Stata Conference Chicago, to be held on July 28-29 (immediately prior to the 2016 Joint Statistical Meetings, also in Chicago). If you've attended a Stata Users Group meeting before, you know how informative and enjoyable they are. If you haven't attended a meeting, this is the perfect opportunity to do so. Chicago is easily accessible, summer is a great time to visit, and if you're considering attending JSM, this makes a perfect prelude. The meeting will be held at the University of Chicago's Gleacher Center, located in the heart of downtown on the bank of the Chicago River and just steps from the Magnificent Mile.

The full announcement with all the details is now available here:

    http://www.stata.com/meeting/chicago16/index.html

Abstracts are due by March 31, 2016. Registration will open later in the Fall, and you can sign up at the link above to receive an email as soon as it does. Make sure to register early, as space is limited.

Just a reminder that the holidays are a great time to be thinking about what paper you'll be submitting to the 2016 Stata Conference in Chicago. The committee looks forward to hearing from you.

Yet another reminder that there is still time to submit a proposal for the conference but you should do so soon. Abstracts are due by March 31, 2016.

Hi everybody. This is probably the last call for submissions. If you would like to present, please send your abstract in by Thursday. We have had 20+ proposals which is close to the # we need but there is still time to throw your hat in the ring if you are interested.
