  • Difference-in-Difference in Stata

    Hi,

There are currently two ways to implement difference-in-difference (DiD) in Stata12: writing the regression model in a way that accommodates DiD and using a user-written command (-diff-).

I read on the website that Stata has been updated in its 13th edition to include treatment-effects etc. Before I upgrade my Stata 12, I wanted to make sure that the new update is what I need for a DiD. Any advice?

    Thanks,
    Navid

You can read the entire manual online for version 13 (not edition) at http://www.stata.com/manuals13/te.pdf regardless of whether you upgrade.
