Help with pretest posttest design with 2 group

I am evaluating the effect of a teacher training program and would like some help on the analysis. Here is the scenario:
Schools in 5 districts were chosen to participate and 2 other districts were chosen as control. Students from both treatment and control districts were tested before and after the program. Students were randomly selected both times so we don't have the same students in the pre and post group. I now have two separate datasets that I need to combine and analyse appropriately. The research question is whether the teacher training program was effective (in terms of improving test scores). I'm relatively new to stata so any help on how to set this up would really help.
