  • From ISIC to ISCO on Stata

Hi, i'm doing a data base with information from OECD. And all this information is in ISIC classification (an international classification for economical activities). But I need it in ISCO classification ('International Standard Classification of Occupation').

I know there's some syntax you can use to get from one version of ISCO to another. And must be for ISIC too. But what I need now is to know if there's any way to get from ISIC to ISCO. Because that's the classification I need. Can someone help me with that? It would be great.

    Thanks for your time

These are different concepts; ISIC measures the sector in which one works, while ISCO measures the occupation. The same occupation can occur in different sectors and different occupations can exist in the same sector. So there can be no translation of one in the other.
